Stress Testing and Recovery and Resolution Planning Masterclass
We provide platform for Public training, In-house, to all clients and individual who seek to learn and educate.

Course Overview
At the onset of the financial crisis banks were not sufficiently prepared for severe financial stress. In response to this failure, all banks must now have clear and tested strategies for recovering from the arrangement of severe scenarios. If banks are able to respond effectively to stress by taking measures to protect or restore their financial position, it reduces the probability of contagion within the financial sector. Recovery planning forms part of the post-crisis reforms to increase the safety and soundness of the financial system. It complements other reforms—such as ring-fencing and higher capital and liquidity requirements—in lowering the probability that a bank will fail.
In this intensive two-day course, we cover the key issues, tools, and techniques used to create and manage a RRP and the real-life challenges faced by financial institutions in the RRP process. Following the credit crisis and subsequent rescue of failing financial institutions by governments, Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) rules are being implemented globally. We would discuss conceptual and operational issues related to the restructuring and resolution of weak banks.
